This chimes is named for the 2nd planet from the Sun. Venus is often called the "morning star" or "evening star" since it is clearly visible at these times.
Love the sound when I hear them. I think the gong should be more affective in the wind.
I love large chimes, as the spund is deep and gothic. I live on 6 acres in Florida at the top of the highest part of the state. Over 24 years I have 15 chimes all around...100 oak trees make them home. I'll keep buying the. In the hills we always get a breeze. Peaceful!
